The Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer of the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB), Dr Shaibu Husseini, yesterday received a delegation from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) at the Board’s headquarters in Abuja.
The delegation was led by Mr Takeshi Oikawa, Managing Director and Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). The meeting provided an opportunity for both parties to discuss potential areas of cooperation and explore initiatives to strengthen Nigeria’s creative and content sector.
Both sides expressed their commitment to continued collaboration and support for the sustainable development and growth of Nigeria’s creative industry.
Mr Oikawa was accompanied by Mr Kono Kenta, Project Formulation Advisor at the JICA Nigeria Office; Dr Elizabeth Onogwu; and Ms Insa Yasmina, Consultant to BCG.
Members of the NFVCB Management were also present at the engagement.
