Students of the Theatre Department of the Kaduna State University pose with the organizer and the Executive Director of the NFVCB among others.
The Executive Director of the National Film and Video Censors Board, Husseini Shaibu Ph.D, led a strong delegation of the Board to the 7th Kaduna International Film Festival, with the theme, “Cinema and Cultural Exchange”.
This is in tandem with one of the “8 Point Plan” of the Honourable Minister of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, Bar. Hannatu Musawa, “to provide comprehensive skill acquisition and development Programmes to ensure that the young Nigerians have the technical capacity to access opportunities across the creative sector”.
Husseini made a presentation at the Film Festival titled, “The Impact of Censorship and Classification on Creative Freedom in Films”.
