The Executive Director, National Film and Video Censors Board(NFVCB), Alh.Adedayo Thomas, Management team and staff of the Board received the Nigeria High Commissioner to Jamaica,Janet Olisa who paid a courtesy visit to the Board on July 5th, 2018.

The ED expressed delight that the High Commissioner found time to visit the Board and share ideas with the Board. He further stated that the Board is willing to work with the High Commission and other relevant agencies.

On her part, the visiting High Commissioner, Mrs Olisa stated that the essence of her visit was to foster greater and better working relationship between the High Commission and relevant agencies in Nigeria. She emphasized that Jamaicans love Nigeria and creative works from Nigeria. The High Commissioner is therefore looking forward to more cultural and business exchange between Nigeria, Jamaica and other Caribbean countries.

The Director General, National Troupe of Nigeria, Comrade Tar Ukoh who was present at the meeting , applauded the Board for hosting the Nigeria High Commisioner to Jamaica. The Director General in his speech said the meeting is very good as it will bring about work ties between the National Film and video Censors Board, National Troupe and the Nigerian High Commission in Jamaica.
